Breast Cancer Support

A desire to help the community through her business, Marlene Studios Day Spa – proprietor Marlene Potgieter – has focused on supporting the fight against breast cancer in women. Through in-store promotions, funds are raised and passed onto the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation to assist the Breast Screen Unit at the Toowoomba Hospital. These promotions heighten the awareness of breast cancer and the need to do regular checks. It also raises funds that can be used to provide comforts for women attending the Breast Screening Clinic at the hospital.
